Anitha Nadig is Counsellor, Coach, and Author dedicated to mental health awareness. With a mission to help people form a harmonious relationship with their minds, she founded Mind Sakhya in 2020. She holds a post graduate degree in Psychology & Diploma in Hypnotherapy. She is a certified Coach from International Coaching Federation (ICF) and certified Mindfulness Trainer for Teens & Young Adults. She is also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & Neuro-Linguistic Program (NLP). Her approach to counselling is rooted in compassion, empathy, and understanding. She creates a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns.
Anitha believes that self-awareness is key to understanding how our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors impact our lives. She recognizes that life events can create trauma, leading to negative coping strategies. However, with counselling and therapy, individuals can overcome these challenges. Her approach to Counselling includes but not limited to CBT, Hypnotherapy & Mindfulness.
With over 5 years of experience, Anitha has touched around 650 lives, helping individuals deal with personal and professional issues. She has a special affinity for working with children, and 30% of her clients are children aged 5 to young adults.
Training and Public Speaking:
Apart from counselling and coaching, Anitha trains budding counsellors, coaches, and psychology students on various skills. She is also a motivational speaker and a thought leader in the mental health field.
Anitha is a prolific writer on mental health, contributing regularly to various magazines. Her writing aims to educate and empower individuals to prioritize their mental well-being. Her latest book, "Mind Matters", is a small step towards fighting the stigma attached to mental health and encouraging people to take professional help. Through relatable stories and simple language, Anitha aims to normalize mental health discussions and promote seeking help.
